Since the opening of Juan Seguin High School in 2002, the Cougar Band program has consistently received superior ratings at both UIL marching and concert band competitions. In 2005, the marching band was selected as a 4A state marching contest semi-finalist. Football Thursday at Poteet - After a great start, the football team returns to action this Thursday against Poteet. The game will take place at Mesquite Memorial Stadium with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Let's go Cougars!

Ice Cream Social September 16 - The annual ice cream social will take place on Thursday September 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the Seguin cafeteria. There will be a performance by the marching band as well as performances by our feeder JH and elementary programs! Come out and here the current and future Seguin Cougar Band!

Blackout Game September 24 vs. Joshua - The annual "Blackout" game will take place when Seguin takes on the Joshua Owls. Blackout shirt are $10 and can be purchased from the band boosters. New band students and any other students needing a shirt can purchase one through the band office. Let's black out Wilemon Field!
