Since the opening of Juan Seguin High School in 2002, the Cougar Band program has consistently received superior ratings at both UIL marching and concert band competitions. In 2005, the marching band was selected as a 4A state marching contest semi-finalist. UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest Wrap-Up - Congratulations to all students on a successful UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest. A total of 62 first divisions were awarded on solos. There were also several ensembles who received first divisions as well. Great job!

UIL Contest Preparation - Now that solo and ensemble is behind us, we will shift our attention to UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest in April. The contest will be held at Seguin on April 20 and 21. It is important that each student do their part to be prepared for rehearsal every day.

Money Collection - Please remember that money is collected on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school only. This ensures we can keep accurate records and make deposits in a timely manner. Thank you for your help in this matter.
